Pay Range: $20.00 – $31.50 per hour (DOE)
Shift:
- 1st Shift: Monday–Friday | 6:00 AM – 3:30 PM
- 2nd Shift: Available (+12% shift differential)
Schedule: 5-4/9 work schedule (every other Friday off) - Overtime: As needed
- Experience Level: Entry to Mid-Level (1–3 years machining experience)
- Industry: Aerospace Manufacturing
In this role, you will:
- Set up and operate CNC mills and CNC lathes through various stages of production
- Perform multiple machining operations including milling, drilling, boring, tapping, sawing, and grinding
- Hold close tolerances while producing precision components to customer specifications
- Use calibrated measuring tools and inspection equipment to verify part quality
- Complete production documentation and quality checklists accurately
- Troubleshoot tooling, machining, and process-related issues
- Collaborate with toolmakers, engineers, program managers, and quality teams
- Maintain a strong focus on safety, quality, and accountability
- Support continuous improvement efforts across machining processes
You’ll work with equipment such as:
- Machines: CNC mills, CNC lathes, manual mills, manual lathes, grinders, saws
- Processes: Milling, drilling, boring, tapping, grinding
- Inspection Tools: Calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other precision measuring tools
- Hand Tools: Grinders, belt sanders, band saws, drill presses
- Aluminum
- Steel alloys
- Aerospace-grade materials
Required
- 1–3 years of machining experience
- Solid work history, including 2+ years with a recent or previous employer
- Ability to read blueprints and understand GD&T
- Experience troubleshooting tooling and machining issues
- Strong attendance, reliability, and safety mindset
- Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
- Ability to read and follow written work instructions and safety procedures
Preferred (Not Required)
- Aerospace manufacturing experience
- Experience operating both CNC and manual machines
- Technical or vocational machining education
- Desire to continue learning and expanding machining skills
