Melts and pours metal into ceramic molds to produce aluminum and steel castings;
Prepares and handles supplied molds to ensure castings meet quality standards;
Loads molds into ovens and preps metal for pouring (degas, chemical additions);
Pours metal into molds according to procedures and records temperatures and times;
Performs daily verifications on spectrometer to certify chemistry and maintain lot integrity
