**** Role Overview
** We are seeking a skilled Machinist to support our automation and custom‑equipment manufacturing team. This position involves approximately 80% manual machining and 20% CNC machining, with a strong focus on accuracy, craftsmanship, and collaboration. The ideal candidate is detail‑oriented, proficient with precision measurement tools, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, engineering-driven environment.
** How You’ll Make an Impact:
*** Perform manual machining operations with a high level of precision and consistency
* Complete conversational programming on CNC equipment; experience with Acu‑Rite MILLPWR G2 and EZTRACK controllers preferred
* Interpret and manipulate 2D CAD files, including importing DXF files for machining
* Collaborate with engineering and internal teams to confirm fixture setups, orientations, and critical dimensions
* Inspect and verify critical dimensions using precision measurement tools
* Communicate potential quality concerns clearly and promptly to management
* Maintain a clean, organized workspace and follow all safety procedures
* Support machining activities as needed to meet production and project deadlines

** What You’ll Bring:
*** Proven experience as a Manual Machinist, with exposure to CNC machining
* Strong understanding of machining principles, manual machine operation, and precision measuring tools
* Experience with conversational CNC programming; familiarity with Acu‑Rite MILLPWR G2 and EZTRACK preferred
* Ability to interpret 2D CAD drawings, manipulate files, and import DXFs
* Knowledge of CMM techniques and GD&T principles (preferred)
* Ability to inspect and confirm critical dimensions independently
* Strong communication and problem‑solving skills
* High attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
