Position

Purpose:

Maintain and optimize the plant operations through predictive and preventative maintenance strategies. Reactively repair breakdowns, minimizing
production losses. Create a safe plant environment through the leadership of barrier removal and mechanical training for operators. Responsibilities: 1.) Execute on
predictive, preventative, reactive, and corrective work orders throughout the plant. 2.) Complete complete safe work permits, pre-job hazard plans, and work order
corrective action/documentation. 3.) Attend plant safety and business meetings. 4.) Responsible for maintenance and repair of all equipment including, but not limited to
Elevator, Mill, Laboratory, Office and other areas as directed by supervisor.

Qualifications:

1.) Must be able to read and interpret manintenance diagrams, blueprints, and
other technical data required to maintain or repair all existing equipment 2.) Demonstrate ability to read, understand, and follow wire diagrams in the field. 3.) Change and
wire 3 phase motors and like electrical components in motor control center 4.) Troubleshoot and install mechanical drive components (v-belts, gearboxes, sheaves,
bearings, etc) 5.) Safely use hand tools, shop equipment, and precision maintenance equipment 6.) Weld mild steel 7.) Must provide own hand tools to perform
maintenance functions. 8.) Must provide own hand tools to perform maintenance functions. 9.) Must be able to weld satisfactorily with electric and acetylene-oxygen
equipment. 10.) Must learn the location and operation of all electrical panel, safety switches, lockouts etc. 11.) Must possess fabrication skills. 12.) Must be physically and
mentally alert. 13.) Must be able to write legibly and perform necessary calculations required to order parts and machinery with a minimum of supervision. Education and

Experience:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Demonstrated safety champion behaviors
• Minimum two years maintenance experience
• Experience working with an
established team
• Good knowledge of Maintenance process and activities.
• 24v-480v AC and 24vDC circuit experience
• Two year technical / vocational school certificate
or higher education
• PLC and VFDs.

• Shift Schedule Start and End Time : 8 hour shifts. Monday through Friday. 7:00am to 3:30 PM but there could be OT
• Min Compliance Pay Rate : 00
• Max Compliance Pay Rate : 40
