This position reports directly to the Warehouse Manager
Core Responsibilities
- Post and monitor production inventory daily into ERP system, related to production work orders.
- Reconcile all Production work orders at the end of runs. Utilize ERP tasks/reports before closing work orders, daily and weekly.
- Report high dollar variances to supervisor and accounting
- Reconcile physical inventories, at the end of runs, to ensure accurate material usage. Closing production work orders after inventories are verified and corrected if needed.
- Month end close outs. This includes all previous month's production is posted to proper month. All work orders are completed and closed at month end to ensure no overlap.
- Coordinate with the production planner at end of each month to ensure all of production receive new work orders for the beginning of each month.
- Update and communicate reports daily and weekly.
- Apply system and workflow skills, optimizing speed to market capability and reduce non-value-added activities..
- Resolve problems by applying logic and common sense, while ensuring internal stakeholders and customer's timelines are met.
- Assist in developing and maintaining production metrics for pricing and inventory.
- Review pricing and costing with manager.
- Perform assignments and directives provided by leadership.
- Additional assignments and directives provided by leadership.
- Self-motivated desire to continuously improve processes within scope of responsibilities.
- Demonstrates solid business acumen for inventory processes.
- Adheres to all safety guidelines Standards of performance (SOP's), Good Manufacturing Processes (GMP's), Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP).
- Experience in production management and manufacturing. Previous experience in a lot-based manufacturing is preferred.
- Computer skills using Microsoft Office, Data Bases, Excel, previous ERP systems experience.
- Analytical skills and knowledge of financial analytic tools. Strong financial acumen and cost accounting.
- Demonstrates interpersonal skills necessary to build strong relationships with internal departments.
- Demonstrates a critical mindset towards appropriately questioning and analyzing alternatives to resolve data and financial issues.

- High school diploma or GED
- A minimum of 2 years of inventory management experience and or training
- Knowledge of relevant computer applications such as MS Word, MS Excel, and spreadsheet software.
- Knowledge of Inventory Control and parts clerk experience preferred.
Frequently required to stand; walk; use of hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop; kneel; crouch or crawl; and to talk; or hear. Ability to lift and/ or move more than 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color, and depth vision. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to occasionally loud.
