The Opportunity
Williams International is seeking a Casting Technician to perform casting finishing duties and other foundry operations. The role includes operation of investment foundry machines, manufacturing and testing parts, maintaining documentation, ensuring compliance with engineering tolerances, inspecting parts, selecting and adjusting equipment, removing burrs, maintaining part identification, and communicating shift changes.
Responsibilities- High School or GED with a minimum of 1 year of industrial experience. Investment casting experience preferred and wax room (injection press and assembly) experience desirable.
- Effective interaction with team members, customers and all levels of management.
- Reads, understands and correctly interprets manufacturing requirements.
- Physical requirements:
- Capable of lifting 50 lbs from floor to waist (must use lift assist or assistance when lifting in excess of 50 lbs).
- Capable of pushing or pulling a weight of 60 lbs.
- Grip strength of at least 50 lbs.
- U.S. citizenship is required.
- Position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Government Security Clearance, if needed.
- Responsible for and accountable for product safety and the quality of work, including all elements defined in the Company’s Quality Policy.
