Computer Numerical Control Machinist

We are seeking a skilled, detail-oriented CNC Machinist to join our production team in Ogden, Utah! If you have a passion for precision, a strong background in machine shop mathematics, and love seeing raw materials transformed into close-tolerance aerospace components, we want to hear from you.

In this role, you’ll be an integral part of our manufacturing family, operating production machinery, ensuring quality via precise inspection, and actively participating in lean initiatives to optimize our shop floor.

• Machine Operation: Set up and operate single or multiple pre-planned production machines (including cutting, shaping, drilling, and reaming operations).
• Precision Machining: Perform critical operations like tapping, spot-facing, countersinking, and counterboring to incredibly close tolerances.
• Blueprints & Documentation: Utilize blueprints, sketches, and route sheets to adjust feeds, speeds, and depths of cut.
• Quality & Inspection: Use measuring instruments, gages, comparators, and magnification equipment to inspect parts for absolute conformance to specifications.
• Continuous Improvement: Participate in daily lean programs and SPC (Statistical Process Control) to drive efficiency and maintain high quality.

• Education: High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience: 2+ years of general or related machining experience.

  Strong ability to read blueprints and a solid working knowledge of machine shop math (including trigonometry calculations).
• Soft Skills: Great communication skills and a cooperative, professional team attitude.
• Physical Demands: Manual dexterity, the ability to stand/walk for extended periods, and the capability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• You must be a US citizen, Permanent Resident, or other appropriate status is required for certain position in accordance with US import and export regulations.
