The Production Lead is responsible for overseeing packing line employees, ensuring efficient production flow, proper packaging, and compliance with safety and quality standards while supporting overall team performance.
Responsibilities- Manage staffing levels, assign workstations, and train new employees.
- Monitor employee performance, provide coaching, and recognize strong performance.
- Ensure team members follow GMPs, safety procedures, and company policies.
- Support production activities and relieve employees during breaks and lunches.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary production environment.
- Ensure packaging meets specifications and prepare equipment and labeling machines for operation.
- Maintain compliance with food safety, food defense, food quality standards, and perform other assigned duties.
Full‑time permanent role on C shift (4:45pm‑5:15am, Monday through Friday with some Saturdays). Pay starting at $29.84.
About You- High school diploma or equivalent (required).
- Prior experience in a food manufacturing or similar production environment (preferred).
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
