As a Maintenance Technician at Contech, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the continuous operation of our manufacturing equipment. Your responsibilities include:
- Provides technical expertise to troubleshoot, repair, and install all plant equipment. This includes electrical, controls, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
- Is accountable for Total Predictive Maintenance (TPM) process.
- Educates, directs, and supports employees in reference to implementation and maintenance of our CMMS system, TPM and equipment repair compliance.
- Manages maintenance budget.
- Identifies cost-effective solutions for replacing obsolete and defective components.
- Adjusts, repairs, or replaces parts, assemblies, and machine equipment.
- Reads and interprets blueprints for repair and installation of equipment.
- Responsible for spare parts inventory.
- Project management, development, and follow up for company initiatives.
We Require:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Demonstrated understanding of industrial mechanical/electrical problems and fixes.
- Good organizational and leadership skills.
- Experience with manufacturing equipment. This includes PLCY, sensors, controls, hydraulics and pneumatics, along with mechanical drive systems.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrates the ability to read and understand blueprints.
- Good root cause problem solving skills.
- Electrical, hydraulics, plumbing, and fabrication experience preferred.
