PCC Ogden's diverse capabilities include 5 axis CNC machining in addition to manufacturing
investment castings in both aluminum and stainless steel. With over 150,000 square feet of
manufacturing space, we specialize in castings for aerospace, energy, medical equipment and
commercial applications.
Job Description
Responsible for machining castings and other products that meet external quality requirements.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities:
* Sets-up and operates manual machining equipment.
* Sets-up and operates CNC machining equipment.
* Performs visual and dimensional inspection on product per procedures.
* Performs deburr operations.
* Performs dimensional inspection on product using a CMM, calipers, micrometers and height gauges.
* Identifies when changes with set-up procedures are necessary.
* Performs preventative maintenance on machining equipment.
* Troubleshoots machining programs.
* Maintains lot integrity.
* Ensures paperwork is properly done.
* Helps other areas as needed.
Minimum
Job Requirements:
* Conventional and/or CNC machinist certificate.
* Able to work in a production environment.
* Able to read and comprehend English.
* Able to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry.
