Rotating 12-hour shift from days to nights on a monthly basis: 7:00 AM–7:00 PM and 7:00 PM–7:00 AM.
Week 1 (48 hours):
Mon – Off, Tue/Wed – On, Thu/Fri – Off, Sat/Sun – On.
Week 2 (36 hours):
Mon – On, Tue/Wed – Off, Thu/Fri – On, Sat/Sun – Off.
- High School diploma or GED equivalent.
- Minimum 1 year experience in an industrial environment (milling, agricultural, food production or equivalent).
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office; ability to learn new programs.
- Good to have: 2+ years experience in similar environment.
- Mechanical understanding and intermediate troubleshooting ability.
- Understanding of safety behaviors in production.
- Mill production experience (preferred).
- Run cleaning house side of the mill, support shift miller.
- Ensure all wheat and flour meet required specifications, following Food Safety Policies, GMPs, sanitation and IPM tasks.
- Set up machinery to maximize results.
- Operate sanitation duties, preventative checks and mill repair.
- Follow schedule and specifications for wheat blending; provide feedback.
- Perform product testing and monitoring during milling and cleaning processes.
- Maintain sanitation standards per policies, provide safe food environment.
- Maintain tools/equipment, execute processes in 5S, Pristine AMPS standards, use tools such as Centerline, 5S, 5
Why to identify root cause and corrective actions. - Document activities and inventories on computer or paper systems.
- Communicate effectively with management, team members and customers.
- Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as required (glasses, footwear, hard hat, hearing protection, respirator).
- Work rotating schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
- Work on a machine‑paced continuous process 24/7.
- Conditions include hot/cold temperatures, dusty environment (wheat/gluten allergens), vibration and other motion, elevated places.
- Work may require standing, walking, rotating, bending, stooping, twisting, crouching, kneeling, balancing, reaching, lifting at varying heights.
- Climb stairs/ladders; occasionally lift, shovel, carry, push, pull; work in confined or elevated places.
- Read, interpret instruction and technology, communicate effectively in English.
- Willing to work long days, rotating or varying shifts, overtime, weekends, holidays.
- Willingness for training and development in Milling Practices and Programs, including other department operations.
- Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
- All offers conditioned upon successful drug test and pre‑employment background check.
- Team members must be clean shaven when respiratory protection (e.g., N‑95 dust mask) is required.
Base pay based on skills and experience: $21.10 – $28.17 per hour. Additional earning potential through incentive plan, target bonus OIP 5% annual.
