Our US locations include:
- East Granby, CT
- East Hartford, CT
- Lansing, MI
- West Chester, OH
- Operate 3, 4, and 5-axis CNC milling and/or turning machines
- Run multiple machines simultaneously as part of manufacturing cells or machining centers
- Machine hard metals such as Inconel, titanium, and stainless steel
- Load parts and fixtures using hoists and safely position work pieces in machines
- Make program-required offsets and adjustments using Fanuc controls
- Read and interpret CNC programs at the machine
- Set up tools using tool sheets and ensure proper configuration
- Inspect parts using precision measuring tools to ensure conformance to specifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Experience setting up and changing over jobs on CNC equipment
- Ability to read English and interpret symbols on operation sheets
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills with ability to work collaboratively
- Proficiency in mathematics and calculator use
- Experience making offsets at the machine
- Ability to read and understand CNC programs
- Experience setting up and using machining tools and fixtures
- Proficiency with precision measuring equipment, including gauges, swing gauges, calipers, and micrometers
- Familiarity with right-angle head operations
- Working knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
- Ability to work within tight tolerances (thousandths of an inch)
- 5+ years of experience in aerospace or high-precision manufacturing
- 3+ years of experience operating CNC multi-axis milling machines
