Schedule:

3rd Shift: Sunday - Wednesday 10pm-7:30am (Every other Thursday 10pm-6:30am)

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and monitor a variety of chemical processing equipment including chemical tanks, air scrubbers, wastewater treatment systems, and monorail overhead cranes.
  • Load and unload aerospace components into processing racks and prepare parts for chemical treatment and etching operations.
  • Monitor and control process variables such as temperature, pressure, and flow rates using computerized systems and control panels.
  • Ensure chemical etching and processing operations meet specifications for precision, consistency, and quality.
  • Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and safety protocols to maintain safe and efficient operations.
  • Perform routine inspections of equipment and identify potential issues or abnormalities.
  • Troubleshoot process equipment alarms and assist in resolving equipment or process‑related issues.
  • Record production and process data while maintaining detailed and accurate manufacturing logs.
  • Collect samples and perform basic quality inspections to verify compliance with specifications.
  • Adhere to strict chemical room protocols, contamination control procedures, and environmental regulations.
  • Safely handle chemicals and consistently utilize required personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Collaborate with maintenance, engineering, quality, and production teams to support repairs, process improvements, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Support efforts to improve manufacturing yield, efficiency, and overall process performance.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a manufacturing, chemical processing, industrial, or laboratory environment.
  • Aerospace, defense, medical device, semiconductor, or other highly regulated manufacturing experience highly preferred.
  • Experience operating industrial equipment and following detailed work instructions and procedures.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to troubleshoot basic equipment or process issues.
  • Ability to perform mathematical calculations and accurately document production information.
  • Experience using computers and manufacturing software applications.
  • Experience with quality inspections, measuring devices, analytical equipment, or laboratory instrumentation is preferred.
  • Previous experience with chemical processing, anodizing, plating, coatings, etching, wastewater treatment, or related manufacturing processes is highly desirable.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize work and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Must be able to thrive in a fast‑paced, safety‑focused manufacturing environment.
Physical & Environmental Requirements
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to lift and move parts and materials as required.
  • Ability to work around chemicals while wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Comfortable working in an industrial manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, heat, and processing equipment.
