Job Title: TIG Welder - 2nd shift
Location: Ogden, UT 84404
Pay: $22 - $35/hr, DoE (+15% Shift Differential & Sign on Bonus)
Schedule: 2nd Shift, Swings:
Monday-Thursday (3:30 PM - 1:00 AM), 9/80 Schedule (Enjoy every other Friday off)
Our client is seeking an experienced TIG Welder to join its aerospace manufacturing team in Ogden, Utah. This position is responsible for welding complex assemblies and precision components that meet customer specifications and aerospace quality standards. The ideal candidate has experience performing precision TIG welding in a manufacturing environment and is comfortable working with a variety of metals while maintaining close tolerances and exceptional quality standards.

- Perform precision TIG (GTAW) welding on complex aerospace assemblies and components.
- Set up welding fixtures, tooling, and equipment to support production requirements.
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, work instructions, and manufacturing routers.
- Weld a variety of metals while maintaining required tolerances and customer specifications.
- Utilize precision measuring equipment including calipers, micrometers, pi tapes, and gauges to verify finished products.
- Perform metal finishing operations using pneumatic grinders, hand tools, and other finishing equipment.
- Complete manufacturing documentation, routers, production records, and labor reporting accurately.
- Perform visual inspections to ensure weld quality and compliance with engineering requirements.
- Support assembly operations as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area while participating in daily 6S activities.
- Follow all company safety, quality, and manufacturing procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Minimum 2 years of TIG (GTAW) welding experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Aerospace, defense, or precision manufacturing experience preferred.
- Welding certification preferred (or the ability to successfully complete a weld qualification test).
- Strong understanding of TIG welding processes and welding best practices.
- Experience welding stainless steel, titanium, aluminum, nickel alloys, or other specialty metals preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and manufacturing documentation.
- Experience using precision measuring equipment.
- Experience operating TIG welding equipment, resistance welders, pneumatic grinders, pedestal grinders, basic hand tools, and overhead cranes.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality welds.
- Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented manufacturing environment.
- Must qualify as a U.S. Person as defined by U.S. regulations (U.S. Citizens or U.S. Lawful Permanent Residents).
