Job Role s and Responsibilities
Operate and support CNC machining equipment to produce precision components.
Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.
Set up CNC machines and develop efficient work holding strategies.
Program, modify, and optimize CNC toolpaths.
Select appropriate cutting tools, speeds, feeds, and machining parameters.
Inspect completed parts using precision measuring equipment.
Maintain tight quality standards and verify parts meet specifications.
Troubleshoot machining issues and improve production processes.
Identify opportunities to increase efficiency and reduce machining challenges.
Support prototype and production machining operations.
Work with multiple CNC controls and machine platforms.
Collaborate with team members and share machining knowledge.
Mentor other machinists when needed.
Maintain a safe, organized, and productive work environment.
Qualifications and CertificationsMinimum 3 years of CNC machining experience.
Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.
Knowledge of machining materials, tooling, speeds, feeds, and tool life.
Experience using precision inspection equipment.
Experience programming and optimizing CNC toolpaths.
Ability to independently develop machining setups and work holding solutions.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Experience with multiple CNC controls and machine platforms preferred.
Experience with multi-axis mills and lathes preferred.
Understanding of prototype and production machining processes.
Ability to communicate machining processes effectively.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
