- Perform machine setup including selecting and installing tooling, work holding, and measuring devices, and execute trial runs to verify correct setup.
- Monitor machining processes, make adjustments to tooling and programs as needed to maintain tolerances and surface finish requirements.
- Inspect parts using precision measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges, CMM) and document inspection results to ensure conformance to quality standards.
- Troubleshoot machine and process issues, recommend corrective actions, and implement continuous improvement suggestions to reduce scrap and cycle time.
- Program CNC machines using G-code or CAM software, edit existing programs, and store program revisions following company procedures.
- Maintain CNC machines and tooling, perform routine maintenance, and report any mechanical or quality issues to supervision for timely resolution.
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area to promote a safe and efficient shop environment.

- Experience in aerospace manufacturing or knowledge of aerospace standards and documentation is desirable.
- Solid understanding of dimensional measurement and quality inspection techniques; able to use calipers, micrometers, gauges, and interpret inspection reports.
- Mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot machines and tooling issues independently.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, GD&T, and engineering drawings accurately.
- Good communication skills, teamwork orientation, and a commitment to workplace safety and continuous improvement.
