Shop Associate- Shop Welder ​/ Fabrication Technician- Day Shift

We are looking for a dependable Shop Welder / Fabrication Technician to work in our fabrication shop. This position is responsible for welding, drilling, measuring, cutting, and preparing metal components and all-thread studs for assembly and installation.

• Perform MIG/TIG welding and general metal fabrication.
• Drill holes in metal components using shop equipment.
• Measure, mark, and cut all-thread studs to required lengths.
• Use saws, grinders, drills, and other hand and power tools safely.
• Read basic measurements, drawings, and work instructions.
• Prepare materials for welding and assembly.
• Grind, clean, and finish welded parts as needed.
• Inspect completed work to ensure proper size, fit, and quality.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Follow all company safety procedures and wear required PPE.
• Perform other general shop and fabrication duties as needed
• Operate Forklift during daily tasks

• Previous welding or metal fabrication experience preferred.
• Ability to safely operate saws, drills, grinders, and other shop tools.
• Ability to accurately measure and cut materials.
• Basic understanding of welding and fabrication techniques.
• Good attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Dependable, hardworking, and able to work independently.
• Ability to lift and move materials as required.
• Willingness to learn new skills and follow instructions
• Operate forklift safely

This is a hands‑on shop position involving welding, cutting, drilling, grinding, and fabrication. The employee must be comfortable working around metal, machinery, noise, dust, and welding equipment while following proper safety procedures.
