Description
- Assemble, fabricate, test, troubleshoot, and repair products and subassemblies in accordance with work instructions, drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, datasheets, and other technical documentation to complete assigned work accurately.
- Operate hand tools, measuring devices, and production equipment safely and effectively to meet production requirements.
- Inspect parts, assemblies, and finished products to verify conformance with company standards and identify defects or inconsistencies.
- Document production activity, maintenance performed, test results, and nonconforming conditions in required logs, records, and reports.
- Perform routine equipment maintenance and basic repairs, and promptly communicate equipment issues that require additional support.
- Monitor inventory of tools, parts, and supplies and coordinate replenishment with the appropriate team members to avoid production delays.
- Collaborate with production, engineering, management, and support teams to resolve issues, improve processes, and support prototype and production builds.
- Perform other related duties as assigned to support business and production needs.
Job Summary:
The Production Specialist performs fabrication, assembly, testing, troubleshooting, service, and basic repair activities for company products. This role supports both prototype and production work, follows technical documentation and work instructions, and collaborates with production, engineering, management, and customer support teams to help ensure quality, safety, and on-time completion.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in manufacturing, production, assembly, testing, or a related environment preferred.
- Experience working from technical drawings, schematics, or written work instructions preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to consistent, high-quality work.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Mechanical aptitude and the ability to perform hands-on assembly, troubleshooting, and precision work.
- Working knowledge of basic hand tools, measuring equipment, and standard production practices.
- Basic understanding of electronics and electromechanical assemblies.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, datasheets, and written or verbal work instructions.
- Ability to perform inspection and process testing to confirm parts and assemblies meet specifications.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment while managing priorities in a fast-paced setting.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks throughout the workday.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds as needed.
- Manual dexterity sufficient to assemble products, operate tools, and handle small parts accurately.
- Hand-eye coordination sufficient to perform assembly, inspection, and testing tasks.
- Ability to distinguish among colored wires, tabs, and electronic components when performing assigned work.
