Production Assembly Worker

Schedule

Monday - Thursday (5:00am-3:30pm)

The Assembly Worker is responsible for performing all tasks necessary to support departmental efficiency and productivity. This position is assigned to the Assembly Department.

• Maintain a safe work environment with a “safety first” mindset.
• Follow all safety processes and procedures.
• Operate power tools and hand tools to complete assigned tasks.
• Assist with the fabrication and assembly of products in any department.

• Assemble and package drain and trench systems using a variety of hand tools.
• Contribute to the overall facility production goals on a daily basis.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have at least 1 year of manufacturing experience as a Laborer.
• Dependability to report to work.
• Must be able to read a tape measure.
• Must be able to effectively use a variety of hand tools.
• Must be able to read and interpret simple shop drawings.
• Bilingual (English and Spanish, both oral and written) is a plus.
• Must pass a drug screen and background check.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Must have a valid state-issued driver’s license.

• Ability to prioritize work tasks and multi-task.
• Ability to withstand extreme temperatures (hot and cold) and outside elements.
• Ability to stand/walk/crouch/bend frequently throughout entire shift (up to 10 hours).
• Ability to lift 50 pounds regularly.
• Ability and willingness to work overtime as needed.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, bilingual (English and Spanish) is preferred.
• Must be able to form advantageous work relationships with peers, managers and plant management.
