Community Ambassador

Halfdays is an outdoor apparel brand for the modern woman with a mission to make outdoor sports more approachable, inclusive, and fun.

• Host regional meetups, organizing and leading at least one monthly meetup in your region every other month, and attend all other meetups in your region.
• Promote and execute meetups in your region, ensuring a smooth experience for all attendees.
• Drive weekly engagement in our Community Slack channel (2-3 hours/week) through a posting schedule, driving conversation, and creating a welcoming environment for all members.
• Collaborate with the Halfdays marketing team on meetup and event planning, share feedback, and provide insights to improve future events.
• Communicate to the team and with other ambassadors on monthly check-in calls to share experiences and exchange ideas.
• Work alongside the community marketing team to secure local snack and beverage partnerships and source photographer and content creators for your regional meetups.
• Promote and post about Halfdays, acting as the “face” of Halfdays for your region, providing gear feedback, and authentically advocating for the brand to your network.

Commitment Duration:
This role is a 6-month commitment, starting in mid-April and concluding at the end of September.

Compensation:

Benefits, perks, and bonuses valued at up to $5,000 throughout the 6 month term.

• Personality & Social Skills: You are incredibly kind, warm, and outgoing. Your friends would describe you as a social butterfly who naturally brings people together for fun activities.
• Outdoor Enthusiast: You love to ski, snowboard, hike, and spend time outdoors.
• Local Expertise: You have been living in your region/city for at least 3 years, making you an expert in your local hiking trails, ski mountains, and the surrounding community. You have a strong network and are familiar with the best spots for outdoor adventures.
• Social Media Savvy: You enjoy posting on your personal Tik Tok and Instagram, and you're comfortable engaging with others online.
• Event Planning Experience: You have prior experience planning events or meetups, whether for your sorority, workplace, or another community group.
• Organized & Ambitious: You are organized, punctual, and ambitious.
• Communication Skills: You’re an excellent verbal and written communicator.
