Job SummaryThe Social Media and Outreach Specialist plays a vital role in promoting the mission of the Community Education Center by connecting with the community both online and in person. This team member will creatively share our programs, success stories, and impact while encouraging broader participation in our classes and events.
Key Responsibilities- Increase public awareness of Community Education Center programs, services, and community impact.
- Manage and grow the center’s social media presence across platforms.
- Create and share engaging, informative, and culturally relevant content.
- Highlight success stories and student achievements to strengthen community trust and visibility.
- Promote and support enrollment in educational classes and community events.
- Represent the organization at outreach activities including tabling events, resource fairs, and public engagements.
- Experience with graphic design tools such as Canva, Adobe Express, or similar.
- Familiarity with social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, etc.) and best practices for outreach and engagement.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish, with strong communication skills in both languages.
- Reliable, creative, and self‑motivated with a passion for community engagement.
