Preteen Ministry Pastor: Discipleship & Growth Lead

Overview

Washington Heights seeks a passionate and dynamic Preteen Pastor to lead, nurture, and equip 4th-6th graders in their faith journey. This role is crucial in creating a vibrant and engaging environment where preteens can encounter Jesus, build meaningful relationships, and grow in their discipleship.

• Lead and mentor a preteen ministry for 4th-6th graders, creating a welcoming and engaging environment for spiritual growth.
• Develop and implement ministry programs and activities that foster discipleship and relationship-building.
• Collaborate with families and volunteers to support ongoing spiritual development of preteens.
• Monitor and contribute to program budgets and resource planning as needed.

• Deep personal faith in Jesus Christ with a passion for working with preteens.
• Bachelor's degree in Theology, Youth Ministry, or a related field preferred.
• Proven experience in youth ministry or a related field.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
