Registered Nurse; RN

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly-skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Float Pool. The RN will provide preventative, supportive, and nursing care based on the nursing process and in accordance with hospital policy and procedures.

• Float across all nursing units where competencies have been completed.
• Provide patient care in a full capacity on each assigned unit.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
• Document patient responses to medications, interventions, and procedures.
• Maintain patient safety during all nursing interventions and document safety measures.
• Collaborate with patients, families, and the care team, respecting developmental, cultural, and age-specific differences.
• Respond to ill calls and periods of high census or leave of absence coverage.
• Demonstrate professionalism and composure under pressure.

• Current Utah Registered Nurse license or RN Compact license.
• Associate Degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS or BCLS) certification.
• One year of medical/surgical acute care hospital experience.
• Completion of an accredited Registered Nursing program.
• All additional certifications or trainings required by the specific unit.
• Excellent communication, sensitivity, and maturity.
