Job Title: Quality Control Environmental
Region: Western USA
Reporting To: Quality Control Manager
Responsible For: Responsible for reviewing subcontractor submittals and ensuring work is installed in accordance with specified Quality Control requirements
Job Purpose: To ensure quality of work and compliance with OSHA, federal, state, and company policies. Understand and exercise the authority to act in all CQC matters. Provide safety support.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES1. Conduct site walks and inspections to identify and rectify poor quality or non-conforming work.
2. Enforce safety plans outlining the scope and mandated requirements while operating on the site.
3. Teach or facilitate training in various areas that are required for each project.
4. Review submittals and verify materials are installed in accordance with approved submittals
5. Be able to research, interpret, and implement various regulations and requirements.
6. Create and execute a Project Quality Control Plan
7. Lead 3 phase quality meetings
8. Record and log testing and inspections done on site
9. Provide guidance for all environmental elements on site.
KEY WORKING RELATIONSHIPSMust be able to work with government and non-government personnel in a professional and clear manner. Be able to work with different trades and construction focuses to ensure a quality environment without limiting the trades ability to complete work. Must be able to properly communicate over the phone and in writing to upper management to include Owners, PM’s, Superintendents, and Corporate Safety.
Qualifications- Graduate Environmental Engineer with minimum 3 years of experience
- Excellent writing and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
- Computer skills
- Excellent plan and specification reading skills
- Well-developed organizational skills
- Honest
- Dependable
- Good interpersonal skills
- Must pass government security clearance standards
- Must pass pre-employment drug screen test if hired
- Good driving record, valid license - insurable through the company
- Must be able to lift to 50 lbs.

- OSHA 30 hours Training
- US Army Corps of Engineers CQC certification
- LEED Training
