About the roleAs a Quality Specialist you will support the Quality Organization by assisting in the oversight and continuous improvement of our nuclear quality programs to ensure compliance with regulatory, code, customer, and internal requirements. Primary responsibilities include support of the document control program, product certifications, and the Corrective Action Program (CAP).
You will report to the Quality Manager and be located at Ogden, UT. You will support this role 100% onsite.
Key Responsibilities- Help administer the document control program following 10 CFR 50 Appendix B, NQA1, ISO 19443, QMS, and other company procedures
- Support control of quality documents and records, including procedures, work standards, specifications, and quality records
- Help ensure only current, approved documents are available and in use
- Help with document revisions, distribution, change notifications, and archival activities
- Verify document and record retention requirements are met per regulatory, customer, and contractual obligations
- Support preparation of documentation for internal audits, customer audits, and regulatory inspections
- Help with the preparation, filing, and archival of product certifications
- Coordinate with customers to resolve documentation or certification discrepancies
- Help document conditions adverse to quality, verifying problem statements, and tracking corrective actions
- Support internal audits, supplier audits, and customer or regulatory audits, including preparation and followup
- Help with quality investigations related to documentation, certifications, or process compliance
- Participate in continuous improvement activities related to quality systems and compliance
- High School Diploma or GED required
- B.S. in STEM degree preferred. We will consider equivalent experience.
- 1-year minimum experience in a manufacturing / chemical plant / industrial setting.
We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $64,800 to $81,000 per year.
