Electric Quality Control

MAINDUTIESANDRESPONSIBILITIES

• Conduct site walks and inspections to identify and rectify poor quality or non‑conforming work.
• Enforce safety plans outlining the scope and mandated requirements while operating on site.
• Teach/facilitate training in various areas that are required for each project.
• Review submittals and verify materials are installed in accordance with approved submittals.
• Be able to research, interpret, and implement various regulations and requirements.
• Create and execute a Project Quality Control Plan.
• Lead 3‑phase quality meetings.
• Record and log testing and inspections done on site.
• Provide guidance for all mechanical elements on site.

Must be able to work with government and non‑government personnel in a professional and clear manner. Be able to work with different trades and construction focuses to ensure a quality environment without limiting the trades ability to complete work. Must be able to properly communicate over the phone and in writing to upper management to include Owners, PM’s, Superintendents, and Corporate Safety.

• Journeyman’s license with minimum of 5 years electrical experience or B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering with minimum 2 years experience.
• Excellent writing and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Computer skills.
• Excellent plan and specification reading skills.
• Well‑developed organizational skills.
• Honest.
• Dependable.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Must pass government security clearance standards.
• Must pass pre‑employment drug screen if hired.
• Good driving record, valid license – insurable through the company.
• Must be able to lift to 50 lbs.

• OSHA 30 hours Training.
• US Army Corps of Engineers CQC certification.
• LEED Training.
• Bluebeam.
• Procore experience.
