The QA Technician is directly responsible for ensuring compliance with all local, state, and federal food safety policies, quality assurance practices, and rabbinical supervision standards for the Ogden bakery.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain Quality Assurance and Sanitation programs to minimize risks from regulatory agencies.
- Establish and manage raw material inspection procedures and analyze specifications to ensure consistent, unadulterated products.
- Implement and oversee kosher certification systems to ensure ingredient compliance with rabbinical requirements.
- Establish operating and capital budgets for sanitation and quality functions.
- Develop and maintain HACCP and SPC systems, including targeted quality check ranges.
- Review quality reports, address hold/scrap issues, and ensure allergen clean‑ups and labeling accuracy.
- Coordinate audits, conduct facility walk‑throughs, and address food safety and quality issues with production teams.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, food quality, and food defense standards; perform other duties as assigned.
Full‑time permanent role on D shift operating from a rotating schedule Wednesday through Saturday 5pm – 5am. Pay starting at $27.97/hr

- BS in Food Science or related field.
- 8 years’ experience in the food industry.
- Knowledge of Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
