Schedule:
Rotating 3-3-4 | 12-Hour Shifts
Hours:
6:00 AM - 6:00 PM Bachelor's Degree Required
We are seeking an experienced Quality Lab Technician to support quality and food safety in a beverage manufacturing environment.
This position is ideal for a candidate with a strong scientific background, laboratory experience, and food manufacturing/GMP knowledge.
The successful candidate will perform microbiological testing, product sampling, environmental monitoring, and quality testing while ensuring compliance with GMP, food safety, and quality standards.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS- Bachelor's degree in Microbiology, Food Science, Biology, Chemistry, or a closely related scientific discipline
- 3+ years of experience in food manufacturing within a GMP environment
- Laboratory experience in a food, beverage, or manufacturing setting
- Experience with microbiological testing and aseptic sampling
- Laboratory management or lead experience preferred
- Strong understanding of GMP and food safety practices
- Excellent attention to detail and documentation skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Ability to work a rotating 3-3-4 schedule with 12-hour shifts
- Perform microbiological testing and aseptic sampling
- Test raw materials, packaging materials, and finished products
- Conduct pH and commercial sterility testing
- Perform environmental swabbing, air monitoring, and water sampling
- Prepare materials and equipment for microbial testing
- Accurately document laboratory results and maintain quality records
- Assist with quality investigations and corrective actions
- Support daily laboratory operations
- Follow all GMP, Food Safety, Quality, and Safety procedures
- Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant laboratory environment
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to work in a manufacturing and laboratory environment
- Steel-toed shoes required
We are looking for someone with a strong scientific education and hands-on food manufacturing laboratory experience. If you have a Bachelor's degree in Microbiology, Food Science, Biology, Chemistry, or a related field, along with 3+ years of GMP food manufacturing experience, we want to hear from you!
