Individual will assist customers in the Wildcat store in all capacities in a wide variety of tasks: greet customers in a friendly, professional manner; become knowledgeable about the textbook floor including textbooks, rentals, eBooks, access codes, book availability, etc.; assist customers with finding books and answering their questions in a professional and helpful manner; help pull books for orders, sell books and Wildcat Store merchandise;

stock inventory, keep store clean and orderly. This role will be trained to operate a cash register and assist customers with purchases and any questions relating to payment plans.

• High School Diploma

• Punctual and reliable

• Ability to work at least 20 hours per week, including evenings and some weekends
• Recipient of the Federal Work Study Program
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

Medium work, with occasional exertion of up to 50 lbs, frequent exertion up to 30 lbs, and constant exertion up to 10 lbs for moving objects. Activities include bending, lifting, standing for sustained periods, moving about on hands and knees or feet, using upper extremities to press or pull objects, and expressing or exchanging ideas. Visual acuity for color, depth perception and field of vision is required for activities such as data analysis, transcribing, and extensive reading.

The worker is not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions typical of office or administrative work. No significant environmental hazards are anticipated.
