About the Sales Development Representative – Exxon Mobil:Your role will be to engage with marketing provided leads and self-prospected leads. You will work to move them forward in the sales process by gathering crucial information and then providing qualified leads to internal sales teams. As the first point of contact, you will play a key role in building the brand, creating a great first impression, and building momentum for Inside Sales Reps and the client brand.
Location: Ogden, UT – Hybrid with 3-days per week in office
What Will You Do?
- Proactively reach out to potential leads through a variety of channels including phone calls, emails and prospecting tools like Linked In Sales Navigator
- Qualify leads by gathering critical information related to their industrial and commercial lubricant needs
- Work with sales team members to ensure a seamless transition from lead development to sales
- Meet and exceed daily, weekly and monthly KPIs
- Achieve established sales goals and objectives
- Maintain accurate records of interactions and follow-ups in our CRM
- Develop and maintain an understanding of our products and which industries they relate to while being able to effectively communicate to uncover customer use cases
- Track and analyze metrics to measure success and improve performance
What Will You Need to Succeed?
- Previous Lead/Sales Development or sales experience
- Experience prospecting your own leads based on provided parameters preferred
- Prior experience working in automotive and/or industrial sectors preferred
- Strong sales aptitude skills, solutions oriented with a passion for the customer and the customer experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- High confidence and ability to quickly build trust within the first call, with strong soft skills to drive impact on the spot
- Salesforce, Sales Loft, Outreach.
IO or other sales tools experience preferred

Compensation Range:
$45,000.00 - $50,000.00
The hourly pay for this position is $21.63. This pay structure may also include a variable bonus component of $5,000.00 annually. There are several factors to consider including but not limited to, the role’s responsibilities, experience, location, education/training, internal equity, and key skills. Your recruiter will provide more detailed information during the interview process.
