- Lead a customer outreach process that will include phone calls, emails, and VC meetings with the intent of building and managing external customer relationships through the onboarding process.
- Work with existing customers to build brand awareness and increase their usage and advertising spend on the platform.
- Own the full sales cycle from identifying growth opportunities to closing increased commitments with small to mid-size businesses.
- Follow best practices for setting up campaigns, including recommended flight durations, budget allocations, and creative strategies, to ensure maximum client success.
- Use data to manage, review, and report on pipeline to manager each week, which includes a forecast and plan to achieve targets.
- Attain daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales and revenue targets.
- Conduct thorough needs analysis and present tailored advertising solutions to clients.
- Build and manage both internal Market Star team and external client counterpart relationships.
- Prepare and run regularly scheduled performance reviews monthly/quarterly/yearly with internal Market Star peers and leadership.
- Provide exceptional customer service and support throughout the sales process.
- Internally and externally provide customer sentiment insights including product feedback, key industry learnings, etc.
- Adhere to advertising policies and guidelines and ensure compliance with internal and external regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of all sales activities and client interactions in the CRM system.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities.
- Proven track record in sales or account management, preferably in a B2B digital advertising or technology environment.
- Strong results orientation with a drive to achieve and exceed targets.
- Exceptional client relationship management skills.
- Excellent time management and project organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong written and verbal presentation skills.
- Ability to analyze and interpret data to develop and implement strategic plans is preferred.
- Proficiency with using Microsoft Office and/or Google Suites.
- Basic understanding of technology and familiarity with sales tools and CRM systems.
- High level of motivation and a proactive approach to work.

Compensation Range: $40,000 – $47,500 (or $19.23 an hour) with a variable bonus component of up to $5,000 annually.
