About the Sales Manager – Viasat
Market Star is looking for a Sales Manager to support our Viasat team. Viasat is a trailblazing internet provider revolutionizing in-flight connectivity for major airlines, and we are looking for a leader to guide the teams responsible for redefining how brands connect with audiences at 35,000 feet.
Location:
Ogden, UT – Hybrid
- Successfully drive the team to meet and exceed weekly, monthly, and annual sales quotas through active leadership.
- Monitor overall team performance to identify high‑achievement areas and prioritize specific segments for growth.
- Ensure continued progress of the sales organization by taking proactive responsibility for the day‑to‑day development and performance of team members.
- Motivate the team to succeed by managing daily activities, sales training, logistics, and operational workflows.
- Analyze CRM data points and sales analytics to enable data‑driven strategic plans and surface valuable market insights.
- Facilitate the adoption and mastery of the sales process to ensure consistent quota attainment and quality of execution.
- Maintain a high standard of professionalism and organization across all customer‑facing engagements.
- Collaborate with program leadership to align sales strategies with Viasat’s evolving product offerings and business goals.
- Other applicable duties as assigned.
- 1+ years of management or supervisory experience in a sales environment, or current service as a Market Star Coach or Team Lead.
- Successful track record in previous sales leadership roles; B2B or Digital Advertising experience is preferred.
- Ability to execute proven processes and analyze data to make informed decisions and find creative sales solutions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to lead effective presentations and product demonstrations.
- Adaptive management style with the ability to work at both micro and macro levels to drive performance.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and CRM tools (Salesforce preferred) to manage productivity and quality.
- Demonstrated ability to build relationships and work collaboratively with teams across the organization.
- High degree of resilience and the ability to manage a team through high‑pressure sales situations and objections.
