Location:
Ogden, Bountiful, Layton, Logan, Northern Utah. Preferred candidates should reside in or near these cities.
Compensation: Uncapped commission, vehicle reimbursement plan, and full benefits.

Salon/Beauty industry experience highly preferred.
The Distributor Sales Consultant is responsible for an assigned territory of customers, focusing on growing salon sales. Responsibilities include meeting sales goals, expanding product lines, and serving salons, barbers, spas, schools, and licensed beauty professionals.
- Identify key accounts within territory and establish an efficient route to grow existing customers and seek new partnerships.
- Assist customers in planning, implementing, and tracking in‑salon promotions, programs, and concepts.
- Communicate sales initiatives with vendors to meet corporate sales goals on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
- Respond to all email, text, and phone communication within 24 hours.
- Analyze accounts to determine necessary brand support, education, and promotions.
- Call customers in person to execute sales goals.
- Comply with procedures for processing returns, including pick‑up and documentation.
- Collaborate with customer service, accounts receivable, IT, and other business functions.
- Prospect for new customers through cold calling, social media, and digital outlets.
- Manage administrative tasks, including daily order entry and maintenance of customer information in
- Use social media to attract and retain salon clientele, offering promotion, education, and product knowledge.
- Conduct in‑person and virtual product knowledge classes.
- Communicate with the Manager about calls, visits, orders, sales progress, and support needs.
- Act as a subject‑matter expert on digital platforms and social media, sharing knowledge with peers.
- Attend meetings, functions, and events, and maintain regular contact as directed.
- Participate in shows, displays, and related physical activities as required.
- Support new initiatives with a growth mindset and foster positive change management.
- Demonstrate a desire to learn, grow, and continuously improve digital and social media techniques.
- Attend business development days to increase product knowledge and vendor relationships.
- Allocate and optimize time for learning and professional development.
- Remain agile to market changes while building industry knowledge.
- Continuously increase product, industry, and market knowledge.
- Create an organized workflow to efficiently service customers.

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of one year of outside sales or beauty industry experience with a focus on consultative selling.
- Must reside within the assigned territory.
- Working knowledge of inventory control systems and visual merchandising (preferred).
- Proficient in Facebook, Twitter, Linked In, Instagram, and other social media platforms for pipeline building.
- Excellent computer skills, including , Outlook, PDF Expert, Oracle; experience with iPad a plus.
- Ability to build online communities and use search engines and internet tools to create social connections.
- Requires local travel within the territory, attendance at shows and conventions, and occasional overnight travel.
- Ability to operate safely in a constantly alert state.
- Frequent and prolonged driving periods necessary.
- Commitment to scheduled hours and flexibility for additional hours based on business needs.
- Strong time‑management, organization, and multi‑project management skills.
