Inside Sales Specialist

Based in St.Louis, Core & Main is a specialty distributor focused on water, wastewater, storm drainage and fire protection products. We provide solutions to municipalities, private water companies and professional contractors across the U.S.

We are looking for a sales associate who is excited about problem‑solving, customer interaction and managing projects from start to finish. The role involves driving the sales process, identifying upsell opportunities, overseeing customer orders and quote requests, and expanding our current account portfolio.

• Manage the sales cycle from lead through close, ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Identify upsell opportunities and collaborate with teams to deliver solutions.
• Process customer orders and quote requests received through multiple channels.
• Maintain and grow relationships with existing accounts.
• Assist teammates and adapt to various tasks as needed.

• Demonstrated success working with customers.
• Experience with inventory sales/order systems.
• Prior experience in industrial distribution or construction supply (preferred).
