Licensed Insurance Sales Representative

Jacque Price - State Farm Agency, located in Ogden, UT has an immediate opening for a full-time Licensed Insurance Sales Professional. Only candidates who meet the following criteria will be considered for this role:

1. Must have an active Property and Casualty insurance license.

2. Must be able to make the commute to our agency location in Ogden, Utah. This is an in-office position.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Develop leads, schedule appointments, identify customer needs, and market appropriate products and services
• Establish customer relationships and follow up with customers, as needed
• Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service. Service can include responding to inquiries regarding insurance availability, eligibility, coverages, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions, and billing clarification

Requirements:

• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred but not required
• Insurance Sales Experience/ Property & Casualty and L/H preferred
• Sales experience (outside sales or inside sales representative, retail sales associate, or telemarketing) preferred
• Successful track record of meeting sales goals/quotas preferred
• Excellent communication skills - written, verbal and listening
• Self-motivated
• Ability to multi-task
• Ability to effectively relate to a customer
• Property & Casualty license (required)
• Life & Health license (must be able to obtain within 60 days)

This position is with a State Farm independent contractor agent, not with State Farm Insurance Companies. Employees of State Farm agents must be able to successfully complete any applicable licensing requirements and training programs. State Farm agents are independent contractors who hire their own employees. State Farm agents’ employees are not employees of State Farm.
