B.H. Inc. is seeking a seasoned HDD Foreman to lead high‑stakes utility projects across the Western United States. This leadership role is based out of the Wasatch Front, UT
, but requires a professional ready for a 90% travel schedule

The HDD Foreman acts as the primary on‑site authority, overseeing the safe and efficient execution of large‑scale projects involving pipe sizes ranging from 6 to 24‑inch. You will direct crews in the operation of Ditch Witch JT25, AT60, and JT60 rigs
, ensuring absolute precision through the use of locating systems, including the Falcon F5
. As a leader, you will manage site logistics, perform equipment troubleshooting, and coordinate tooling changes for various ground conditions. You are responsible for ensuring all utility pot‑holing is completed accurately and that the entire team adheres to rigorous safety protocols and excavation regulations.
- This position involves a 90% travel probability, with teams typically staying out for four to six weeks.
- Current projects are active in Utah, Colorado, California, and Idaho.
- Schedules are job‑dependent but often follow a four weeks on, two weeks off rotation.
- You will lead a schedule that averages 50‑60 hours per week during peak operations, generally Monday through Saturday with Sundays off.
- BHI covers initial travel to the job site; personal travel home during a rotation is not covered.
- Minimum of five (5) to seven (7) years of proven experience as an HDD Foreman.
- Valid Class A CDL required (or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire).
- Expert knowledge of large‑diameter steel pipe installation and proficiency with Falcon F5 locating.
- Self‑driven and organized with a strong work ethic and the ability to manage non‑union field crews effectively.
- Must be capable of performing physical labor in all weather conditions and traveling for extended periods.
