Spring Gardens Senior Living is currently looking for a full-time Maintenance Tech to join our team at our community in North Ogden, UT.

• Supports the philosophy, mission, commitment, vision, and values of the company.
• Perform a wide variety of building maintenance and mechanical work including carpentry, electrical, plumbing, interior and exterior painting, masonry, drywall repair, HVAC, small appliance and minor equipment repair.
• Utilize TELS work orders and promptly respond to on-going maintenance and repair issues.
• Performs routine maintenance and repairs on the community and equipment.
• Ensures that work/assignment areas are clean and that equipment, tools, supplies, etc., are properly stored before leaving such areas on breaks, end of work day, etc.
• Follows established fire and disaster safety policies and procedures.
• Ensures that established infection control and universal precautions practices are maintained.
• Reports all unsafe/hazardous conditions, defective equipment, etc., to the supervisor immediately.
• Ensures that maintenance supplies have been replenished in work areas, as necessary.
• Promotes a team effort and participates in our On-Call rotation schedule to assure the building is covered 24/7.
• Prepare, and assure all apartments/rooms are rent-ready before new residents move into the Community.
• Walk the community at least weekly and identify areas that need repair or maintenance and follow-up on corrective actions.
• Keeps supervisor informed of supply needs and performs other duties as deemed necessary.
• Transport residents to all medical appointments

• 2 years of maintenance experience.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Driver’s License (Required)
• Must be able to obtain Level One fingerprint clearance through Arizona Department of Public Safety
• Strong maintenance knowledge in:
  Basic Plumbing (faucets, toilets, garbage disposal, irrigation, etc.), General Electrical (outlets, GFI, Breakers), Carpentry, Painting, Drywall, Caulking, Tile and Carpet Installation, HVAC, Some Appliance experience, Some Roof and Fencing.
• Must be dependable, punctual and able to anticipate and prioritize tasks daily.
• Ability to lead, organize and finish assigned tasks in a timely manner.
• Ability to work under pressure, multi-task and problem solve independently.
• Working, transportation & phone with internet.
• Must have good customer service skills to interact with residents, family members, co-workers, and vendors.
• TELS experience is a plus.
