Position: 94F Special Electronic Devices Repairer

Job Description

The Army National Guard utilizes many forms of sophisticated equipment on and off the field. As a Special Electronic Devices Repairer, you will ensure that vital instruments and tools – including night vision equipment, electronic distance and azimuth‑orienting devices, battlefield illumination devices, and nuclear, biological, and chemical warning and measuring devices – are meticulously maintained and operational.

Responsibilities
  • Test instruments, navigational controls, and simulators.
  • Read technical diagrams and manuals.
  • Replace parts and perform troubleshooting.
  • Ensure quality control measures are followed.
  • Inspect equipment and simulate combat conditions during training.
  • Advanced level repairers supervise and train other soldiers.
Helpful Skills
  • Interest in mathematics, problem‑solving, and electronic equipment repair.
  • Strong attention to detail.
Training & Compensation

Receive 10 weeks of Basic Training and 25 weeks of Advanced Individual Training in a classroom and field. Earn a regular paycheck and qualify for tuition assistance while you learn.

Requirements
  • Military enlistment in the Army National Guard.
  • Must be at least a junior in high school, or have a high school diploma or a GED certificate.

  • Must meet citizenship requirements.
