- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on mechanical systems, HVAC/R units, refrigeration equipment, and electrical components to prevent breakdowns and extend equipment lifespan.
- Diagnose issues using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools; execute repairs promptly to minimize downtime.
- Repair appliances, air conditioning units, refrigeration systems, and other critical equipment with precision and attention to detail.
- Read and interpret schematics, technical drawings, and service manuals to guide repairs and installations effectively.
- Lead small maintenance projects or assist construction teams during facility upgrades or new installations.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, parts used, and inspections completed.
- Respond swiftly to emergency maintenance requests ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times.
- Proven experience as a service technician with a strong background in appliance repair, HVAC/R systems, refrigeration, or mechanical maintenance.
- Knowledge of schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic procedures for various equipment types.
- Hands‑on experience with HVAC systems—including air conditioning units—and refrigeration technology is essential.
- Mechanical knowledge combined with construction experience is highly desirable for complex repair tasks or system upgrades.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to guide junior team members or coordinate maintenance activities efficiently.
- Strong problem‑solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues quickly under pressure.
- Relevant certifications in HVAC/R or appliance repair are preferred; ongoing training is encouraged to stay current with industry standards.
