Low Voltage Cable Technician

Overview

We are looking for both experienced and non experienced individuals. On the job training is available for the right fit.

• Assist with the install, service, repair and maintenance of all category copper cable, coax, and fiber optic cable. Install racks, patch panels, wire managers in MDFs and IDFs.
• Build out of MDF and IDFs, including installing racks, patch panels, wire managers, and network electronics.
• Use test equipment and appropriate hand tools as needed during installation or repair.
• Provide appropriate customer service when responding to a customer request or fulfilling project requirements.

• Some experience is preferred in installing, testing and troubleshooting copper and fiber cable systems, but not necessary. On the job training is available.
• Physical ability to lift up to 60 pounds, work on ladders, scissor lifts, use power tools; ability to work in confined spaces.
• Must be able to tell the difference between like colors.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.
• Strong communication skills, work ethic and ability to work as a team or individually.
• Construction site knowledge and experience is a plus.
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening.
• Must have reliable vehicle and valid driver's license.
• Pay is based on experience level.
