Heavy Equipment Diesel Mechanic

• Report directly to Fleet & Facilities Manager, Project Manager, and Office Management daily
• Maintain and repair all types of construction equipment, trucks, and non-mobile equipment on site and in the shop
• Complete various tasks such as oil changes,greasing, adding fluids, and changing filters
• Implement preventative measures and services
• Troubleshoot malfunctions and problems while identifying the issue and incorporating a plan to fix it. Repairs include butare not limited to; electrical, hydraulic systems, diesel, and gasolineengines, etc.
• Oversee fabrication & welding of miscellaneous broken parts, gravel boxes, etc.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area
• Comply with all safety policies, practices and procedures
• Other duties as assigned by management

• 1-2 relevant years’ experience working as a Heavy Equipment Diesel Mechanic
• Valid CDL-A is preferred, but not required
• Willingness to obtain valid CDL-A in the future
• Obtain a valid Medical Card as per DOT standard
• Competency and awareness of surroundings to identify safety hazards
• Ability to stand, bend, shovel, and other miscellaneous manual labor
• Comfortable with exposure to various weather conditions
