Residential Human Services Tech: Part-Time

Job Overview

Weber Human Services Residential Human Service Technician is responsible for maintaining a safe and caring environment that promotes client recovery and well‑being in SUD recovery facilities and a mental health unit.

• Provide a warm, welcoming presence to all clients and establish clear boundaries.
• Document incidents and maintain accurate records of client interactions.
• Dispense medication to clients while ensuring detailed attention to dosage and schedules.
• Support the clinical program by facilitating activities and educational groups.
• Coach clients on personal hygiene, room cleanliness, and encourage participation in daily treatment activities.
• Engage with clients to develop life‑skill and coping‑skill strategies.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Mental and behavioral health experience in a patient‑care setting (training provided).
• Valid Utah driver’s license and ability to use transportation as needed.
• CPR/First Aid certification (to be paid, after employment).
• Food Handler’s Permit (to be paid, after employment).
• Completion of approved background screening through DACS (required for most positions).
• Understand and comply with BFOQ gender‑specific requirements for certain SUD facilities.
