Service Now Developer

The work is primarily being complete remotely however candidates will be required to go onsite for PI planning, potentially quarter meetings, and if there are severities that may need to be addressed. Candidates need to be local to one of these three locations:
Hill Air Force Base in Ogden Utah, Fort Meade Base in Maryland, or Scott Air Force Base in Illinois.

• We are only able to accept candidates that are eligible to obtain an Interim Secret clearance during onboarding. It only takes a couple of weeks to process someone for an Interim Secret clearance
• Referral fee = $7 – $9 depending on the pay rate

  MON- FRI 9am – 5pm
• Pay structure:
• Level 1: max pay rate = $50 - $70 / requires 4-8 years of experience
• Level 2: max pay rate = $75 - $85 / requires 8 – 12 years of experience
• Level 3: max pay rate = $90 - $100 requires 12 years + of experience

The Service Now Developer you will perform configuration, development, support, and maintenance of the Service Now implementation. Works with external and internal stakeholders to understand, propose, and deliver digital transformation solutions with emphasis on request fulfillment, automated workflows through Service Now Service Catalogs and key ITIL processes like Request, Incident, Problem, Change, Knowledge, and other modules.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Support the standup, configuration and implementation of Service Now’s ITSM, OMT, TSM, and TSOM modules.
• Create and maintain Forms, Reports, Views, Workflows, Groups and Roles
• Create, maintain and enhance Dashboards and reporting, including scheduled reports
• Create and configure tool integrations with Service Now (Elastic, Netcool, Kafka, etc)
• Coordinate and support application and platform upgrades
• Assist with design, creation and cataloging of business process flows
• Work with other members of the Service Now development team to propose solutions based on business needs and strategies
• Perform the necessary tasks to design and configure Service Now functions to meet operational needs
• Support business process re-engineering activities to move ticketing and order management capabilities into Service Now
• Identify trends and find patterns in unstructured and semi-structured customer data that can be used to create a more positive customer experience and increase overall network performance
• Interact with the customer to address Systems Engineering technical considerations and associated problems, issues or conflicts
• Developing, configuring, and customizing the Service Now platform to fit business requirements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve problems.
• Orchestrate and automate tasks.
• Responsible for the design and build of Service Now Applications and integration to other applications and platforms, including architecture, languages, best practices, and methodologies in an Agile Scrum environment.
• Provide strong development and project on-track and on-task and collaborate on an ongoing project in both new and enhancements development between engineers, developers, analyst, and other team members.
• Follow, maintain, and apply documentation best practice policies, procedures, and process throughout Service Now development.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather input to support ongoing business needs for Service Now configuration, implementation, and support.
• Review and apply any additional UI/UX requirements from external and internal team and align into Service Now development.
• Utilizes available programming methodologies and languages and adhere to coding standards, procedures and techniques while contributing to the technical code documentation.
• Support data migration as needed.
• Design and implement solutions following established Configuration Management policies and standards.
• Integrate data from multiple data sources into a unified CMDB, ensuring data quality and integrity are maintained.
• Willingness to further grow and enhance skillset from more senior developers throughout each project.
