GOLF COURSE GREENS STAFF/EQUIPMENT OPERATOR - GOLF DIVISION

DIVISION: Golf

WORK HOURS: Very Flexible Part-Time Schedules. Must be able to work any day of the week, day, or night including holidays. Shifts will include Saturday and Sunday split shift.
Position available approximately from March through November.

RATE OF PAY: $14.00 - $18.00 per hour, dependent on qualifications. Wage dependent on prior experience as a Golf Course Greens Staff/Equipment Operator.

Will be involved in the preparation of the golf course for daily play and tournaments and improvement projects as needed; duties to include all aspects of golf course maintenance and repair such as, but not limited to, mowing, trimming, irrigation repairs, sand bunker maintenance, and some janitorial duties;
MUST be available to work weekends and holiday schedules.

• Knowledge of safe, efficient mechanical operation of tractors and other motorized equipment.
• Ability to follow oral and written directions.
• Must be able to read and write.
• Must be fit for duty and be able to lift heavy objects and loads with no restrictions.
• Must be willing to work varied schedules. Golf course experience preferred and basic knowledge of rules of golf essential.

• Include but are not limited to prolonged standing, walking, sitting, climbing, stooping, kneeling, and crawling.
• Must be able to see and hear and speak.
• Must be able to lift to 25 pounds.
• Will be required to work in inclement weather conditions.
