Truck Driver - Local Class B

Full‑Time Local Class B Delivery Truck Drivers

Average annual salary: $69,160. Dispatch start: 7:00 AM. Local routes with daily home time.

• Perform multi‑stop deliveries of parts and supplies to automotive dealerships.
• Unload trailer using manual pallet jacks, hand trucks, and rolling cages.
• Scan products upon unloading and delivery.
• Complete approximately 5 stops per week.

• Dispatch time: 7:00 AM.
• Work five days a week:
  Tuesday through Saturday.
• Average 45 hours per week.
• Home daily.

• Valid Class B CDL with air‑brake endorsement.
• Required to be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in state of residence.
• Non‑exempt interstate DOT medical card (current or obtainable).
• At least 1 year of documented commercial vehicle driving experience within the last 5 years.
• Three years of DMV/MVR records with two or fewer moving violations or accidents.
• Compliance with all federal, state, and agency laws, regulations, and guidelines.
• Regular, predictable, full attendance required.
• English language proficiency (required by federal law).
• Ability to work required schedule and location; complete Penske employment application, background investigation, and drug screening.
• Compliance with DOT regulations and ability to remain alert and safe; acceptance of responsibility for own and others’ safety.

• Must be able to see and hear; includes close, distance, peripheral, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
• Must move frequently and stand, walk, sit; use hands for touch, handling, and reaching.
• Must lift or move up to 50 lbs (23 kg) regularly and occasionally up to 100 lbs (45 kg).
• Must legally operate a motor vehicle and enter/exit vehicle and rear cargo area safely.
