Assistant Manager

Job Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver's license with a safe driving record meeting company standards.
• Access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
• Strong navigational skills: reading maps, locating addresses within the designated delivery area, and navigating adverse terrain, multi‑story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites.

• Stock ingredients from the delivery area to storage, work area, and walk‑in cooler.
• Receive and process telephone orders.
• Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
• Clean equipment and facility approximately daily.
• Deliver product by car to customers and deliver flyers and door hangers.

• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately (calculator optional).
• Make correct monetary change.
• Strong verbal, written, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
• Motor coordination to make quick, accurate movements.
• Enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
• Basic computer skills.
• Speak, read, and write English proficiently.
• Experience in restaurant industry preferred.

• Stand, walk, sit, and lift regularly; lift up to 50 pounds with occasional heavier loads.
• Carry products up to 30 pounds; push or pull trays up to 7.5 pounds.
• Navigate stairs or ladders; climb stairs during delivery (up to five flights).
• Perform stooping, bending, crouching, squatting to stock and clean.
• Work in temperatures ranging from 36 °F to 90 °F+; exposure to hot surfaces up to 500 °F, fumes, cornmeal dust, and cramped quarters.
• Work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
