Program SummaryK provides wholesale supply and logistics support, inventory management, commercial and government depot maintenance, and configuration management associated with the Enterprise Base Logistics contract.
Job SummaryPickers will pull parts at the K Warehouse following K Work Standards. Once the part is pulled and QC’d the picker will issue the part to the pick ticket via Maximo, setting the status as completed (Comp’d).
Practice First in First Out (FIFO) – a warehouse inventory control method in which the first items to come into the warehouse are the first items to leave. FIFO helps avoid obsolete inventory and ensures the oldest parts move first, improving inventory accuracy and cost tracking.
Roles And Responsibilities- Pull parts and fill orders.
- Receive, check in, and issue materials in support of daily production activities.
- Establish document files, prepare required documents and reports.
- Maintain inventories and complete records; ensure proper planning, receipt, storage, and issue of all material.
- Under direct supervision, assigned daily work; explain instructions and documentation to plan work activities.
- Coordinate the organization’s inventory control, order fulfillment, and distribution.
- Review inventory to ensure that product adjustments are properly applied.
- Responsible for weekly cycle counts.
- Open boxes and inspect incoming material.
- Adapt to an environment with constant priority changes.
- Observe and follow all safety rules and procedures, including wearing required personal safety equipment.
- Obtain forklift certification.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel (core functions and basic formulas); familiarity with PowerPoint (insert slides, save presentations, add text);
Outlook skills (create emails, attach files, make appointments). - Good communication skills and strong multi‑tasking ability.
- Safety oriented.
- High School Diploma and/or GED.
- Experience and certifications that align with specific requirements; candidates should detail relevant experience in resume bullet points.
- Knowledge of Maximo.
- Experience with electric pallet jacks/forklift.
