Job Summary

The Warehouse Specialist is responsible for the accurate receipt, storage, movement, inventory control, and shipment of materials to support Qnergy’s manufacturing operations. This role ensures materials are received, handled, stored, picked, and delivered efficiently while maintaining inventory accuracy and supporting production schedules. The Warehouse Specialist works closely with Production, Purchasing, Quality, and Logistics to ensure timely material availability and continuous improvement of warehouse operations.

Responsibilities
  • Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials against purchase orders and shipping documentation.
  • Unload, label, and properly store materials using established warehouse procedures.
  • Pick, package, and complete customer sales orders accurately and on schedule.
  • Process and fulfill transfer orders between Qnergy facilities to support inventory replenishment and production needs.
  • Gather, stage, and package parts for Customer Service, warranty requests, field service, and small sales orders.
  • Prepare outbound shipments, including packaging, labeling, documentation, loading trucks and carrier coordination.
  • Maintain accurate inventory transactions within the ERP system.
  • Perform routine cycle counts and assist with physical inventories.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
  • Ensure proper material identification, traceability, and stock rotation.
  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely.
  • Maintain warehouse organization using established 5S principles.
  • Assist with warehouse layout improvements to maximize efficiency and storage utilization.
  • Support kitting activities for production work orders.
  • Coordinate with Purchasing regarding shortages, damaged materials, or receiving discrepancies.
  • Support Quality with material quarantines, nonconforming material, and inspection requirements.
  • Follow company safety procedures and maintain required PPE.
  • Assist with continuous improvement initiatives that improve inventory accuracy, productivity, and warehouse efficiency.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Education & Experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • At least three (3) years of warehouse, logistics, inventory, or material handling experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Experience with ERP or inventory management systems.
  • Forklift certification or ability to become certified.
  • Experience supporting lean manufacturing or continuous improvement initiatives.
Skills & Abilities
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Working knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory control principles.
  • Ability to accurately complete inventory transactions.
  • Comfortable using computers, barcode scanners, and ERP systems.
  • Ability to read shipping documents, work orders, and inventory reports.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Basic math skills for inventory counts and measurements.
Work Environment
  • Work is performed primarily in a manufacturing and warehouse environment.
  • Requires standing and walking for extended periods throughout the workday.
  • Frequently lift, carry, push, and pull materials weighing up to approximately 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Regularly operates forklift, pallet jack, and other warehouse equipment.
  • Requires frequent bending, reaching, climbing, and repetitive hand movements.
  • May be exposed to varying temperatures, moving equipment, and typical manufacturing noise levels.
  • Requires the use of appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
