Equipment Operator - Day Shift (M-F, 6:00am-2:30pm), $18.50

Description

Summary:

An Equipment Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of assigned powered material handlingequipmentincluding but not limited to:
Sit Down Forklift, Reach Truck, Order Picker, Pallet Jack, Pallet Stacker and Pallet Jackto support all facets ofahigh-volume distribution center.

• Follow all safety rules tomaintainpersonal safety and the safety ofothersincludingmaintainingclean work areas.
• Operate electric powered sit-downelectricforklifts, order pickers, reach trucks and pallet jacks incompliance withall OSHA regulations.
• Load, unload,retrieve,stackand store productsinaneat,safeand productive manner.
• Transport product or suppliestodesignatedareasto support operational needs.
• Usepallet wrapping machinery, floor scales,RF equipment, automated dockequipmentand company issued utility knife.
• Perform Forklift Operator Daily Checklists on assigned equipment.
• Report any accidents, near missesor hazardous conditions.
• Perform general housekeeping dutiesas needed.
• Communicate effectively with internal and external customers toeffectivelysupport operations.
• Ability to work overtime including weekends when required.
• Basic math skills, ability to count, add, and subtract numbers quickly and accurately.

• Experience in thesafe operationofpowered industrial truck(s) in a warehouse preferred.

Basic computer skills with WMS,RFand scanning experience.

• Willfrequentlylift upto 50 pounds and occasionally lift upto 75 pounds.
• Must be able to perform repetitive foot movement.
