Hemo-Chron-LPN – Per Diem
The LPN performs tasks and responsibilities within the framework of case finding, health teaching, health counseling, and provision of supportive and restorative care under the direction of a registered professional nurse, licensed physician, or other select licensed authorized health care provider. Must be able to prime & disinfect dialysis machine. Perform hemodialysis catheter care pre and post treatment. The LPN ensures that compassionate, engaged care meets or exceeds quality standards.
Care is provided in an efficient and safe manner consistent with the NYS licensure and CHMC standard of care. LPN works under the direct supervision of an RN for the duration of their shift. Clinic is open one weekend day to provide services 6 days a week for patients. Most times this is Saturday UNLESS a holiday falls on that day.
Candidates are expected to rotate weekend shifts.
